In October we had the chance to catch up with Valentina and get a nice interview with her. Below is what came out of the interview.
Q How did you get involved with Wrestling
I was always a huge fan of wrestling, ever since I was a little girl. When I turned 17, I
Realized that I wanted to be a part of the wrestling business...there was no doubt about it. I went to check out some wrestling schools and met Johnny Rodz along the way. I talked to him about possibly joining his wrestling school (located in Brooklyn, NY). During our conversation, he asked me who one of my all time favorite wrestlers was, and I said Jimmy Snuka. He then told me he was having a show later on that week, and invited me to be in it as Snuka's valet. I was so excited to be in my very first show as one of my favorite wrestler's valet. It was an honor, and that is how I officially got started off in the wrestling business.
Q Which wrestling company do you work for
Right now I'm working with Jersey All Pro Wrestling (JAPW).
Q What was it like in the Locker-room
JAPW has a very professional locker room. I've worked with other companies where the locker room consists of half the men trying to fondle the valets.... it's ridiculous!
Q Which wrestlers were the most fun to work with
I have the most fun being in the ring with the Hit Sqaud and Dixie when they cut promos. They are just soooo funny. I also like being Deranged's sidekick, because I get to show the fans my psycho side!
Q How are the other women to work with
I've met a few very nice women, but most of the valets are very catty. It should be about having fun with each other, not a full-blown competition like I've experienced.
Q What was it like entering an arena with fans shouting and looking at you
It's awesome having fans cheer for you, but since I'm usually a heel, the comments aren't too nice, but its something you have to get used to.
Q What are your thoughts on the recent WCW Sale and do you think WCW will turn around now that Vince McMahon is in command
I really hate the fact that Vince is in total control of everything now. It leaves workers with no choices.... the fans too for that matter. It stinks that we have to be limited to working with or watching just one major company. I hope Vince can make something good out of the WCW now that he owns it.
Q Have you been offered a WCW or WWF Contract
Not yet, lol
Q Who did you hang around with most backstage
I hang around with whomever I'm working with that night.
Q Did you make any close friends while wrestling
Mary Kate, one of the photographers became a good friend to me, as well as Deranged.
Q What are your thoughts on the Nitro Girls
They are good entertainment.... I guess lol.
Q What are your thoughts on Backyard Wrestling
I think these kids should join a wrestling school if they are serious instead of destroying their bodies.
Q Do you have any comments when it comes to the XFL
Bad idea...what made Vince think he could compete with the NFL?
Q Do you have any comments when it comes to Missy Hyatt's Wrestling Vixxxens Website
Its not something I would want to be a part of...but if she's comfortable with it...LET HER MAKE THAT MONEY!
Q Do you have any comments when it comes to MTV's Show Tough Enough
I feel that Maven and Nidia are always going to be looked at like outcasts, and that they aren't going to get the respect they deserve. Most wrestlers feel that they didn't pay their dues, and that is why they will be looked down upon.
Q Have you followed the wrestling industry all your life
Yes, ever since I was 3 years old, when I jumped off the couch trying to be like Jimmy Snuka and broke my arm, lol.
Q What federations have you been a fan of:
I liked WWF in the 80's and early 90's...but then I started liking WCW in the mid 90's...and after that ECW was my favorite. It didnt have all those corny storylines.
Q What wrestlers do you admire:
I admire Molly Holly. She is the best in the ring, and she is totally real.
Q What wrestling related websites do you follow if any:

Q If you could wrestle anyone who would it be and why
I would wrestle Molly Holly because she is the best and i really look up to her.
Q If you could be any wrestlers valet who would it be and why
I would be Shawn Michaels valet. So we can be Heartbreakers together, lol.
Q Where do you see yourself in 10 years time:
In the WWF making millions and millions of dollars Hopefully.
Q Have you ever made any worth mentioning mistakes when performing Live:

Q What has to be your greatest wrestling moment
The first time i ever got a huge pop......it was after i did a cross body from the top into a tornado ddt....it was amazing hearing the fans cheer for me.
Q What would you call your best physical feature
Most people say my legs, but i like my smile better.
Q How has your wrestling career effected your life as a whole
It has opened me up to many new things, and made me a more outgoing person. I was so shy growing up.
Q Do you enjoy all the Internet attention you get
Of course!
Q What is it like knowing men have pictures of you on there walls and knowing many are in love with you
Im truly flattered.
Q Can I have some comments on the following
Wrestlers/Divas
Chyna: Opened lots of doors for male/female wrestling.
Lita: She has a cool look, but she is overrated. She's really sloppy and has a nasty moonsault in my opinion.
Trish Stratus: She's good eye candy, and looks like shes trying really hard to learn how to wrestle which is cool.
Midajah: I dont know what the point of her was.
Ivory: Great body....great wrestler....great personality.
Fabulous Moolah: Definately admirable. She helped women's wrestling gain popularity.
Mae Young: Oh god, she needs to keep her clothes on, lol....but she deserves some credit for being in her 70's and still taking bumps, especially through a table!
Molly Holly: She keeps it real and is a kick ass chick!
Nicole Bass: no comment
The Kat: She was cute
Stephanie McMahon: She really didnt need to get those implants!
Kidman: great high flyer
Rena Mero: What a sad story.......
Hulk Hogan: I dont care how much people diss him now...he was still the man during his time.
Hardy Boyz- Jeff is a dare devil...I like it.
Kevin Nash: I liked him better as "Diesal"
Bill Goldberg: Oh my god...how did he get to be so popular? He couldn't wrestle for sh*t!
The Rock: I like his Mic work
Kurt Angle: He is an all around great package. He has the body, he has the mic skills, and he can wrestle. I give him a 10!
Triple H: One of the best heels ever.
Shane McMahon: He's cool.... I still can't believe he did a shooting star.
Steve Austin: I like him alot. He talks alot of crap yet makes it funny.... WHAT?
Vince McMahon: There is only one word to describe Vince...GENIUS.
Q What kind of workout do you do
I work with weights and do alot of cardio
Q How much time do you spend on training and keeping
fit
About 2 hours a day, 5 days a week
Q What fitness advice would you give to people looking to follow on in your footsteps
Make sure you eat right. People think that they can eat garbage and work it off in the gym. Thats totally false. A proper diet is more important than the gym.
Q Do you have any comments on the WWF's Chyna and how she has changed her look over the past 3 years
Definitely an improvement. She used to look like a man, but now shes alot more feminine.
Q What do you family think of your wrestling career
They think it's a waste of my time
Q Do your family support what you do
Only my brothers and sister.... my parents think it's the worst.
Q Do you have much time to spend with your family
I dont spend much time with them at all.
Q How did your family react when they learn't you were moving into the Wrestling Industry
My parents hated it, but my siblings thought it was awesome.
Q What jobs interested you while you were growing up
I want to be a personal trainer.
Q Looking into your past what one thing would you change if you could
I wouldn't have trusted people the way I did.
Q Do you have any comments you would like to share
