Exclusive Interview
In February of 2001 I had a chance to get a interview with former WCW Diva, Paisley. Paisley, better known to fans as Sharmell, is now apart of a music Band who are known as Diversity 5 and I suggest you all take the time to visit there official site at Diversity5.com and also check out there music.

How did you get involved with WCW
Vanessa (Tygress) recommended me when there was an opening for a Nitro Girl.  I interviewed with Kimberly and then auditioned for all of the Nitro Girls.  The rest was history; I became Storm.

Did you make any close friends in WCW
I met my best friends at WCW - Vanessa, Melissa, Teri, and Chae.

Did you enjoy being a valet or a dancer more
I enjoyed being a valet more because I was more involved with the show.

What was it like in the WCW Locker-room
It was great!  I met four of my best friends there.

How are the other women of WCW to work with
The women are great!  WCW really had a great group of girls.

Who did you hang around with most backstage
Vanessa, Chae, Kwee-Wee, DJ Ran, Prime Time.

Who came up with the name Paisley and did you like the character
Vince Russo came up with the name Paisley and I did like the character. Paisley was strange; an enigma.  No one could figure her out and I liked that.

How did you like your time as the artists valet
I really enjoyed my time as The Artist's valet because that was the birth of Paisley.  Paisley got a lot of air time and time on the microphone with The Artist.

Which wrestler was it more fun working with, Kwee Wee or The Artist
They were both a lot of fun because the totally got into their character! I had a blast with both of them.

What differences were there from your role as Kwee Wee and The Artists valet
Paisley was more subdued with the artist and more playful with Kwee-Wee.

Did you like the team of Paisley, Kwee Wee and Meng
I loved the three of us together.  Meng is incredible inside the ring and out.  He's a great person.

What were your thoughts when Meng left WCW for the WWF
I wish him nothing but the best; he deserves it!

Would you ever go to the WWF if they offered you a contract
I would definitely keep my options open

What are your thoughts on the recent WCW Sale and do you think WCW will turn around now that you have new owners and management
I really have no idea what's going on with the company since I'm no longer there.

Was it a shock when you were released from your WCW contract
Yes it was a shock; it was completely unexpected.

Would you ever return to WCW if they wanted you to come back
It would depend on what they offered me.

Did you enjoy doing all the WCW Media appearances
Absolutely.  I've always enjoyed interacting with the fans.

What was it like entering a arena with thousands of fans shouting and looking at you
I come from a performance background.  It's been my life for the past 8 years so I love the crowd

What was it like when WCW informed you that you had been selected for a spot as a Nitro Girl
I found out I got the position the day before I was supposed to go over seas for a month and a half with James Brown.  I had to call and resign that day so it was kind of a bitter sweet moment for me.

What was it like to work with the Nitro Girls
It was incredible.  I have an extended family now!
