Interview with: April Hunter
In June 2001 we had the chance to catch up with former WCW Diva and Playboy Playmate, April Hunter, and below is what came about during the Interview.

How did you get involved in wrestling?
APRIL: I was lucky and in the right place at the right time. Terry Taylor was looking for Playboy and fitness models to spice up WCW a bit. I was one of the girls picked.

Would you ever be a part of WWF or the new WCW?
APRIL: Absolutely!

Which wrestlers did you get along with the most?
APRIL: I get along with everyone, to be honest.

What do you think about Vince McMahon buying WCW?
APRIL: Hopefully, it will improve the show.

Do you still watch wrestling?
APRIL: All of it. Including indie shows and local cable access wrestling, too. That's where I see some of the most innovative moves.

How many times have you been in Playboy?
APRIL: Just once so far. I've shot 6 layouts for them, but only one has come out.

If you could wrestle anyone in the business who would it be and why?
APRIL: Dean Maenko. I think he's an excellent wrestler. I'd also love to work with Ivory. I think her character is great. It's not easy to be as built and pretty as she is and pull off a heel character so well.

What do you like to do in your spare time?
APRIL: I'm training at Killer Kowalski's 4 days a week, and working for Chaotic Wrestling on the weekends where I play one half of a brother/sister tag team as April Kincaid. (http://www.chaoticwrestling.com/) I'm also in the gym, or working on my own site.

How much do you work out?
APRIL: 4-6 days a week.

What did you think about Chyna posing for Playboy?
APRIL: I thought she looked damn good. Great boobs!

Do you have a boyfriend?
APRIL: At the moment, yes.

What types of guys do you like?

APRIL: Someone who can kick MY ass!

What CD is in your cd player right now?
APRIL: a few actually. N.E.R.D., Stevie Ray Vaughn, Disturbed, the Beach soundtrack and Tupac. Don't ask-I listen to everything.

Tell us one thing that your fans probably dont know about you?
APRIL: I'm college educated, but play a great bimbo!

Is there anything you would like to say to your fans?
APRIL: N-i-c-e one, brother! Oh, sign up for my free newsletter, too. http://www.aprilhunter.com/
